<p>This position will provide a community-based services working with children, adolescents, and their families.  Responsibilities include providing assessment, evaluation, individual, group, and family therapy, and coordination with schools, DFACS and courts.  Experience working with youth and their families, and the children&#8217;s system of care is required. The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal skills, a sense of humor, and be a team player. Other requirements include a valid GA driver&#8217;s license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance. A criminal and motor vehicle record release will be required upon hire. The mental health candidates must have at least a master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related human services field from an accredited college or university and be licensed as a LPC, LAPC, LMSW, LMFT, LCSW in the state of Georgia. Experience in assessments, diagnosis treatment, intake, addiction or managed care with excellent documentation skills is a plus. Two years of experience a must.</p>

<p>The DUI program also known as Risk Reduction Program (RRP) is an educational program mandated by Georgia law for people convicted of Driving Under the Influence (DUI), possession of illegal drugs, underage possession of alcohol while operating a motor vehicle, Boating Under the Influence (BUI) or various other offenses.</p>
<p>This course is composed of two components: The Assessment Component and the 20-hour classroom program<strong> </strong></p>

<p><strong>Assessment </strong></p>
<p>An assessment is required prior to beginning the 20 hour class; all students must come in and complete a NEEDS assessment survey. This is a 130 question survey addressing different lifestyle issues. The assessment takes about 30-40 minutes.  The NEEDS assessment should not be confused with the DUI clinical evaluation.</p>

<p>Total cost for the complete DUI /Risk Reduction Program: $292.00 This cost is set by Georgia Law (Cost includes: 20 hrs course $190; assessments $82; required book $20).</p>

<p>PGCC offer Anger Management Classes are designed for individuals who need to take court ordered courses for court ordered requirements, or at the request of their employer, or for personal reasons. PGCC provides a quality comprehensive program for individuals struggling with anger management an opportunity to gain insight into their difficulties while learning skills to appropriately deal with anger. The program encourages individuals who participate to accept responsibility for their actions and avoid harmful behaviors in the future.</p>
<h1>Program Basics</h1>
<ul>
<li>Client Assessment;</li>
<li>6-12-16 -week group therapy      sessions; Individual therapy available based on assessment</li>
<li>Youth and adults exhibiting aggressive      behaviors (physical and/or aggressive); and</li>
<li>Services      individuals ages 8 and above</li>
</ul>
<h1>Group Therapy</h1>
<p>Participants referred to the program attend an 6-12-16 week counseling program consisting of group sessions which meet for one hour each week, and are conducted by a professional certified anger management specialist from PG1 Counseling Center. Discussions are designed to assist participants in understanding and taking responsibility for their personal struggles with anger management. Through the sessions; participants work to identify their anger triggers and rehearse appropriate responses to anger. Forgiveness, domestic violence, and relapse prevention are also discussed, among other topics.</p>
<h1>Who is eligible for the Anger Management Program?</h1>
<p>The program is open to adults and youth from 8 to 17 years of age. Youth are referred to the Anger Management Group as the result of incidents related to anger management; such as harassment, assault, trespassing and destruction of property, violence, aggression, etc.</p>
<p>This Anger Management model of intervention is used and accepted in courts, probation departments, hospitals, mental health facilities, schools, substance abuse facilities, major corporations, governmental agencies and private practices.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Class Schedules and Fees</span></strong></p>
<p>Anger Management Groups are facilitated by a Certified Anger Management facilitator.<strong> </strong>Costs: $25 per class session. The intake/ registration fee is $50.</p>
<p><strong>Times:</strong> Classes are offered in the evening for your convenience.  Morning sessions are available by appointments only.</p>
<p>Tuesdays:  5:30 pm &#8211; 6:30 pm<br />
Saturdays:  10:30 am – 11:30 am</p>
