To supervise and direct youth in a residential community group care program, assist with the record keeping and perform duties necessary for the overall care and well being of the youth in the program. Conduct oneself as a “role model” for the youth; provide appropriate direction of the youth in their daily routine; give youth positive reinforcement as appropriate; dispense medication to youth as instructed; provide first aid treatment as necessary; Maintain complete and accurate daily records, documentation and report suspected child abuse/neglect as mandated by law; implement behavior modification techniques as instructed- Prepare meals utilizing provided menus; Maintain the order, safety, cleanliness of the facility and grounds; responsible for housekeeping and laundry; supervise youth in assisting with chores; Transport youth to school and medical appointments as necessary. The candidate must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in a related social service field and/or 3-5 years experience

The primary responsibility of a Human Service Professional is to meet the social and emotional needs of consumers in a residential group home setting.  The Human Service Professional exercise independent judgment in residential treatment, provide as delegated and function in a non-treatment staff capacity providing a variety of services as program specialist: The candidate must have at least a Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred. Satisfactory criminal background check required.

The primary responsibility of a Behavioral Intervention Specialist is to provide residential care and structured therapeutic support to children and adolescent in our residential and community based programs. BIS, provides one-on-one social, personal, behavioral and emotional support to children, adolescents and families. BIS, professionals also educate and help develop support skills in parents, family members and others to ensure the wellbeing of the child. The candidate must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in a related social service field.

The primary role of this position is to assess the strengths and needs of the clients; plan, provide access and coordinate holistic continuing care and services for children, adolescents and families. Provide emergency services to client and community (by telephone & face-to-face) around the clock; Provide skill building group, in conjunction with a qualified Mental Health Professional; Crisis Intervention, behavior management, skill training and linkage to community resources; Provide on-site and off-site interventions; Access community resources in person and by telephone; Provide for personal safety and that of clients; Work irregular and/or extended hours as indicated by client needs; Must have experience working with families in crisis. The primary role of this position is to provide Community Support Services under the supervision of a Mental Health Professional. CSI will provide comprehensive support services to consumers in need of crisis intervention, counseling/behavior management, skills training, focus on goals outlined in the IRP, as well as coordination and linkage to outside supports resources.  Working directly with children, engaging in such activities as coaching, modeling, limit-setting, and reinforcing constructive interactions. These interventions are strength based and focused on promoting recovery, symptom reduction, increased coping skills, and achievement of the highest level of functioning in the community. CSI services are provided in a multitude of settings such as, the consumer’s home, school, work, etc. the candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.

This position will provide a community-based services working with children, adolescents, and their families.  Responsibilities include providing assessment, evaluation, individual, group, and family therapy, and coordination with schools, DFACS and courts.  Experience working with youth and their families, and the children’s system of care is required. The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal skills, a sense of humor, and be a team player. Other requirements include a valid GA driver’s license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance. A criminal and motor vehicle record release will be required upon hire. The mental health candidates must have at least a master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related human services field from an accredited college or university and be licensed as a LPC, LAPC, LMSW, LMFT, LCSW in the state of Georgia. Experience in assessments, diagnosis treatment, intake, addiction or managed care with excellent documentation skills is a plus. Two years of experience a must.

The DUI program also known as Risk Reduction Program (RRP) is an educational program mandated by Georgia law for people convicted of Driving Under the Influence (DUI), possession of illegal drugs, underage possession of alcohol while operating a motor vehicle, Boating Under the Influence (BUI) or various other offenses.

This course is composed of two components: The Assessment Component and the 20-hour classroom program

Assessment

An assessment is required prior to beginning the 20 hour class; all students must come in and complete a NEEDS assessment survey. This is a 130 question survey addressing different lifestyle issues. The assessment takes about 30-40 minutes.  The NEEDS assessment should not be confused with the DUI clinical evaluation.

Total cost for the complete DUI /Risk Reduction Program: $292.00 This cost is set by Georgia Law (Cost includes: 20 hrs course $190; assessments $82; required book $20).

Friday         5:00pm to 9:00 pm
Saturday    9:00am to 6:00 pm (1 hour lunch 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm)
Sunday       9:00am to 6:00 pm (1 hour lunch 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm)

**No late admission to class**

Upon completion of this class, each student will be issued a State of Georgia: “Certificate of Completion”.
